Gunman Christopher Williams, 28, shot five people and killed two in a rampage through two houses and the elementary school. The shooting rampage was fueled by a dispute with Williams' ex-girlfriend, Andrea Lambesis, who lived with her mother Linda. The gunman first shot to death Linda Lambesis, 57, at her home and then went to seek Andrea at her work workplace. He did not find her, but he did fatally shoot teacher Alicia Shanks in her classroom as she and other teachers were preparing for the opening of the school. Williams also shot and wounded another teacher, Mary Snedeker, 54. He then shot Chad Johansen, 28, his friend who had loaned him the gun, in the head outside his condominium after returning there to get more ammunition. Learn More (usatoday.com)
