Occurred on Dec 10, 2004
Skyler Cullitan, a junior at Lakeside High School, shot himself at 1:25 pm on Thur, Dec 9, 2004, while standing in the school's entryway. He was taken to a hospital but died that evening. No other students were injured, but the all schools in the district were put in lockdown. He was "remembered as caring, outgoing, eccentric" according to his classmates. He had so much intelligence and energy. He was a genuine kind spirit who deserved a long fullfilling life. He wasn't materialistic or fake in anyway, he was genuine; always said what was on his mind even if he was talking to a complete stranger. He once programmed (by himself) a dancing stick figure in Qbasic with an excellent theme song. I'll always miss him. He inspired me to be myself, for myself.
