Shooting at Lewis and Clark High School
Victims
Shooter
Sean Fitzpatrick (16, Male), Student
Occurred on Sep 22, 2003
A distraught 16-year-old student pulled out a 9mm handgun during his science class at Lewis and Clark High School in Spokane, WA, shot a hole in the wall, and demanded that the teacher and students leave the room. Using Rapid Responder software, a SWAT team quickly isolated the gunman. It became a waiting game between the police and the gunman, and when the gunman chose to provoke the SWAT team, they were forced to fire in self-defense. The wounded student was quickly evacuated by waiting paramedics to a nearby hospital, where he eventually survived life-threatening wounds. Learn More (securitysolutions.com)

It was not during science class it was during lunch and he walked into a classroom with a teacher and students eating lunch there and shot the gun off. I graduated in 2005 and Sean was in my class. I was exactly 3 floors below we he shot the gun into the wall. No one knew or heard anything until the police came in with guns and told us all to get out now.
