Thomas White, a 13-year old boy brought a MAC-90 semiautomatic assault rifle (a replica of an AK-47) to his school, Memorial Middle School, pointing it at students and firing it into the ceiling until the gun jammed. He was allegedly trying to shoot at the principal, but the gun jammed. The school was evacuated and no one was injured. According to court documents, White said that “he just wanted to scare people".
