The 18-year-old victim was treated at San Francisco General Hospital for gunshot wounds to the abdomen and buttocks. The 1:30 p.m. shooting in a campus parking lot was the climax of an argument between two groups of young men. The shooting prompted a lockdown at the school, and students described feeling "shocked" that such an event had taken place on campus. The college is situated in a quiet residential neighborhood.
